Peak Scientific is a small gas generator manufacturer with a respectable 10% share of the laboratory market and a Queen’s Award for Enterprise. But with a new product range and ambitions to expand, Peak wanted to be seen as a serious contender. Essentially Peak had a 15-year-established brand identity and a group of excellent products. The brand was bursting with innovation, but it was in need of strategic marketing.

999 developed a messaging strategy and brand overhaul to position it as a global player. They injected vibrancy to bring the logo’s pyramid shape up-to-date, and developed a powerful product story, centred on the richly diverse adjective ‘Genius’.

999’s work led to a 30% increase in sales, and a 5% increase in market share. In the Middle East, India and in China, market share soared to 45%, which was 7.6% higher than predicted. Company profits increased by £3.6m. Peak is also achieving increasing international sales with small offices now in the US, China, South Africa, Germany, India, Mexico and Taiwan.
